Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809. He was the sixteenth President of the United States. He kept the country together through the Civil War. In 1863, he gave his Emancipation Proclamation, abolishing slavery in the Confederate states. He supported passing the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution, witch abolished slavery in the country. Today we read lots of books and learned all about Abraham Lincoln.
